Asda Ardrossan is the Arctic Circle of supermarkets never known for a supermarket to be as cold as this, how these workers in there cope with these temperatures I don't know, it's like a reptile house!.
It's the most convenient supermarket for me. The car park is big and well laid out. The shop is spacious and you can find most things in it. Asda's own branded stuff is quite poor in my opinion, but the beer is always cheap
Saved myself 40 today on non grocery items. I was stood in line at the only checkout open and i waited. And then i waited some more. The lady on the checkout was working as fasy as humanly possible. Someone joined the queue behind me. Amd still i waited. I put my basket down and walked out. I do not get paid by asda. I will not go through a self service checkout.
Reasonable range of items. Competitive prices and good deals. Excellent parking and generally helpful staff. Cafe an added bonus.
Shocking service at the tills and worse at the cafe. My sandwich filling could only be classified as a bit of meat the size of your earlobe inside an 12" over baked stone. I had the stake and cheese baguette served to me after the other 7 of our group had eaten . The lady at the service counter looked surprised when I went up to look for my toasted sandwich
